“I’m not afraid of storms, for I’m learning to sail my ship”~ Louisa May Alcott

Be (B)eautiful: I am a new fan of the whole oxford shoes all of a sudden being cool and trendy. I can dig it! These Christian Louboutin Oxford pumps are to die for and they come in Nude which is another big trend this season.  These pumps can def be dressed up and dressed down with Jeans and a  cute top. Versatile shoes that can go from casual to night out are so worth it.

Be (A)uthentic: 90% of the time you know what is best for you. If hearing it from someone else is what you need to confirm it then don’t take the easy way out and ask the person who will tell you what you want to hear. Go to the person who will keep it real, a fellow BAD girl, of course.

Be (D)etermined: Most people think studying is something you do outside of the classroom, but why not study while you are actually in a learning environment? The initiative you put in to understand what the professor is talking about while in class will make up for the time spent learning it out of class. Studying should be a review of what you have been learning, not a cram session where you try to teach yourself everything that’s been going on since the last exam. A good way to help you pay attention to what the teacher is talking about instead of drifting off into a fantasy should be to focus on taking good notes! Good study techniques begin in the classroom as you take notes. Note-taking is a way of remembering what you were taught or what you’ve read about. Many of us just show up to class to get our attendance marked down and spend our time day dreaming, catching up on facebook or texting our friends throughout the whole class period. If you ask me, I think its way smarter to take advantage of actually being in class as study time then to have to waste more of my free time outside of class studying.  Taking good notes wont eliminate studying, but I bet you it will help make studying that much easier for you with a lil bit of DETERMINATION!
