If there is one thing you need to know that I learned from this conference; it is that bloggers have turned traditional media upside down and are making some serious moves! Companies are now realizing just how influential bloggers really are and what a key role they play in connecting their brand to the end consumer. I left this conference feeling inspired and motivated to continue building my blog and B.A.D Girl brand.
The conference consisted of panel discussions with some of the biggest names in the blogosphere (i.e The Blonde Salad, Saucy Glossie, & Man Repeller to name a few) as well as representatives from different companies who answered questions, shared experiences and insights with the rest of us on various topics.
Shopbop was a sponsor and they were hosting a best dressed blogger competition. Let’s ignore how ghostly I came out thanks to the flash, please and thanks!

Levi’s was at the Event fitting bloggers for a free pair of jeans from their new Curve ID women’s denim line! They were also promoting their new Shape Whats to Come Campaign, which is really cool. And to make the already wonderful day even better the 2 designers behind Proenza Scouler came by to chat with us about everything from how they started to their up coming Fall/Winter 2011 collection. It was amazing! They are super cool and laid back. I have a crush on Lazaro’s adorable accent! Check out their site HERE.
