“We are always getting ready to live, but never living.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

Getting the most out of life is something I really strive to do on a daily basis. I try not to let daily responsibilities keep me from enjoying my time on this earth, because you never know when it will be over. But don’t get me wrong I am about my business!

Here are 3 Simple Questions to Ask Yourself :

Be (B)eautiful: Who do I love and what am I doing to express my love?

Let the people you really care about know how you feel. Make time for those you haven’t seen, but really want to. Let go of grudges and reconcile differences. Show it and mean it. ‘Nuff said!

Be (A)uthentic: Am I as good of a person as I want to be?

It is not always easy to be a “good person”, well, at least not all the time. Sometimes it’s easier for us to be rude, mean or selfish, without even thinking about it. This is part of human nature and it’s not something to beat yourself up over. However, you should make an effort to try harder at being a better YOU.

Be (D)etermined: Am I doing all that I can to pursue my goals or am I letting fear get in the way?

Fear is that ugly little troll that doesn’t want to disappear from the back of our closet. Every time we try to open the door and make a step toward reaching our goal that little troll pops up to remind us he hasn’t left. Do you look the troll in the eye and say “I am not afraid of you” or do you turn around and close the door on your dreams?

Very inspirational post ::presses love button:: I am not afraid, you little troll!!

  2. Beautiful post. I especially like the troll analogy. I know mine has green hair and always creeps up at the worst times, but you’re right, he can’t stand in the way of my dreams.

I like how you mentioned loving others and being a good person to others but what about loving yourself? I think that should come first and the other two will follow.
