I had the pleasure of covering the backstage action before the Tracy Reese Fall 2014 Runway show during New York Fashion Week and it was such a cool experience! These are some of the behind the scenes photos I snapped with make up by Mally Beauty, Hair by Ouidad and nails by Sally Hansen.

The hair for the show was to look natural and textured almost  as if you didn’t style it at all. There were 5 different makeup looks with “Exuberant” being my favorite because I loved the gold metallic glitter flakes that were sprinkled on the cheeks. It looked so pretty! I also loved the “Melancholy” look with a watercolor effect on the eyes using soft pinks, blues,  peach, navy and beige.

The Tracy Reese Fall 2014 collection draws inspiration from juxtapositions, playing the loud and ecstatic against the pragmatic and quietly complex to create classically modern silhouettes in commanding cloths. I really enjoyed the Tracy Reese show and like how wearable her collection is for the everyday woman.  She had an amazingly diverse cast of models, which I love to see at fashion shows.  My favorite looks were the menswear inspired silhouettes, oversized embroidered sweaters and the amazing jackets. I seriously need to step my coat game up after seeing this show!
