B.A.D. Girl Tip: Enjoy The Process
A work out is just as much mental as it is a physical process. You have to train your brain to like it. If you dread your workout you are going to dread how long it takes you to see the results you want. Like attracts like. So start feeling good about your workout and your body will start to look good too. Try new things until you find an activity that you actually enjoy doing. Celebrate every last squat. Enjoy the process and you will achieve your goal sooner.
How do you enjoy working out?

Exactly! Exercise shouldn’t be torture. I always suggest for people to keep trying new classes, activities and/or programs until you find something you enjoy doing! And taking the mind off of it being ‘exercise’ and switching it to ‘this is fun, good for me, and I’m adding years to my life’. I myself, am a fitness instructor and I LOVE it. I also love working out on my own – weights, running, etc. But, I wasn’t always that way. It didn’t hit me until my mid-twenties.
This is totally true. In my PE GCSE class the definition of Health is ‘being in a state of physical, social, and mental well being, not merely the absence of infirmity or disease’. I love to run, but I know the dead truth that if I’m not in the right mindset in the morning my motivation to get fit slithers down the drain very quickly! x
So true! xxx
