November was all about skincare with lots of moisturizing products!
Are these super affordable liquid lipsticks worth the hype?
This season your pout should be covered in these grungey ’90s vibe shades.
September means cooler temperatures, darker shades and a change in skin care routines. Here are my favorite products that I have enjoyed using this past month.
I pretty much live at the gym. I do my best to go at least 5 days a week and I am very proud to say that I’ve stuck to that commitment since I started on my fitness journey back in January. It has become part of my daily routine and I don’t feel 100% if I don’t get a good work out in. Being that I frequent the gym on the regular I thought I would share with you all some of my must-have items that I carry in my gym bag. 1. Headphones: I only use headphones when I am at the gym or flying in an airplane. I find them uncomfortable so there is no way I was going to spend a lot of money on a pair so finding these bright pink babies for just $5 at Target was a total win for me! They work great! 2. Lifting Gloves: I train at the gym by lifting weights where it can get heavy and strenuous so protecting my hands from callouses is a must! …
I am all about my skin and keeping it tight so I was thrilled to try out the Neutrogena Rapid Repair product line, which promises to deliver #RapidResults! I would like to call out that I do not necessarily have wrinkles so the products were used for improving skin appearance and minimizing fine lines. I was gifted the full line, however I used the eye cream and night time moisturizer the most. Rapid Wrinkle Repair Eye Cream: This lightweight eye cream contains Retinol SA and is clinically proven to fade the look of crows feet, brighten and even under eye area, reduce the look of dark circles and smooth fine lines. I could feel the product working the moment I put it on and after a few days I noticed that the skin under my eyes was brighter and looked tighter. Rapid Wrinkle Repair Night Moisturizer: This moisturizer has the highest concentration of Retinol SA and proven to fade the look of deep wrinkles, brighten skin tone and smooth fine lines. The moisturize causes skin …
I am finally back with my current beauty favorites! I don’t normally wear much makeup in the summer, but when I do I have really been loving these products, especially the lippies! Here are my thoughts on each. EYES: Maybelline Color Tattoo Eyeshadow – Bad To The Bronze, $6.99 One of my fav beauty vloggers Amanda Ensing influenced this purchase and I loveee it. The staying power is insane and I love the beautiful shimmery bronze color. The product is very buildable and it’s exactly what I needed for when I want to glam up my natural/brown makeup look. NYX Pin-Up Tease Mascara, $5.99 I have super long and unruly lashes especially the ones at the outer corners of my eyelids and the wand on this mascara does exactly as it promises. It’s designed to separate and curl your lashes. The brush size is smaller than I am used to but it works so good. My only complaint is that it is hard to fully take off without the use of makeup remover. LIPS: Milani Lipstick- …
I was really excited to try the NEW starter kit from Jane Iredale because her line focuses on creating makeup with actual skincare benefits. Products are made using high quality ingredients with no parabens, high testing standards and are always cruelty free. Here are my thoughts on the kit! Smooth Affair Facial Primer & Brightener This primer helped even my skin tone to eliminate redness and the appearance of pores while also giving my skin a subtle glow, which I love! Pure Pressed Base & Amazing Base SPF 20 Broad Spectrum -Medium These multi-tasking foundations provide 4 functions in one: foundation, concealer, sunscreen and active skincare benefits. The Pure Pressed Base (my personal fave!) gave me amazing coverage with just one quick application. I also liked that it was very buildable so you can achieve the look you want and the product doesn’t look caked on. The amazing base is a loose mineral powder, which works great but I am just personally not a fan of when it comes to foundations because it gets messy (no matter …
I am a bit late with my favorites for the month of April (it went by way too quickly!), but I guess I didn’t really have too much newness to share with you all. I did however have some empties from some of my favorite products so I figured I would share these with you too. So here we go! Favorites: Nubian Heritage Mango Butter Soap, $4.49 I’ve mentioned how much I love this brand before, BUT this one just might be my favorite. My skin has been so silky smooth that I spend way too much time feeling on myself for no reason at all. So serious. Mineral Fusions Nail Polish in Glint of Mint, $7.99 I purchased this polish because it is marketed as a healthier alternative to regular nail polish that’s free from all the terrible chemicals and toxins found in others. It has good staying power and the colors are gorgeous. YSL Volupte Sheer Candy in Cool Guava, $34 I’ve had this glossy balm for some time now but found myself wearing it frequently in …
