B.A.D. Girl Tip: Separate Business from Personal with Social Media

Social media is a huge part of our lives right? I’m all about it but what I’m not about are employers and future co-workers who scope you out on Facebook either before or after you get the job. You best believe the e-mail that’s on my resume is not the same e-mail that’s linked to my Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc. Keep business and personal separate. Create an e-mail address just for your social media accounts if you have to because the last thing you want is to not get a call back  because of a late night tweet. You’re Invited to Goodwill Suits You – A Fashion Show Celebrating the Power of Work

Hey B.A.D. Girls! I am excited to share with you all that I will be participating as a blogger/stylist in this year’s Goodwill Suits You Fashion Show on October 1st, in honor of Disability Employment Awareness Month! For those of you not familiar with Goodwill; they are a not for profit organization that helps enhance the dignity and quality of life for individuals and families in need. They also have really awesome second hand clothing (thrift) stores where you can find great deals if you are into thrifting or in need of clothing at an affordable price. Thanks to my good friend, Kimberlee, I will be participating as a stylist and my job has been to meet with the models and help style them for the fashion show by selecting professional business attire found at Goodwill stores.
