12 Fall Accessory Trends for Your Zodiac Sign

As the summer season is starting to settle down, it’s time to start planning your fall wardrobe and pulling out those must-have accessories. In partnership with the Astrology experts at DailyHoroscope.com here are my tips to help you get started with the best trends in footwear or handbags for your zodiac sign. Aries (March 21 – April 19) The fearless and bold Aries woman will be excited to turn heads in thigh-high boots that can be worn over pants or with a sexy dress for full-on vixen mode. The over-the-knee boot comes in many different styles, but it’s the fiery confidence found in Aries that will take this trend to the next level. Taurus (April 20 – May 20) Taureans love being surrounded by the best of the best and value luxury, so splurging on a pair of Lucite shoes won’t take much convincing. Designers loved incorporating the clear acrylic glass element in the heels of their footwear for this fall — from a chunky heeled boot to a sexy stiletto, the choice is yours, Taurus! …

NYFW: Backstage at the Tracy Reese Fall 2014 Runway Show

I had the pleasure of covering the backstage action before the Tracy Reese Fall 2014 Runway show during New York Fashion Week and it was such a cool experience! These are some of the behind the scenes photos I snapped with make up by Mally Beauty, Hair by Ouidad and nails by Sally Hansen. The hair for the show was to look natural and textured almost  as if you didn’t style it at all. There were 5 different makeup looks with “Exuberant” being my favorite because I loved the gold metallic glitter flakes that were sprinkled on the cheeks. It looked so pretty! I also loved the “Melancholy” look with a watercolor effect on the eyes using soft pinks, blues,  peach, navy and beige. The Tracy Reese Fall 2014 collection draws inspiration from juxtapositions, playing the loud and ecstatic against the pragmatic and quietly complex to create classically modern silhouettes in commanding cloths. The collection takes an intimate look at self-expression, intermixing utility pieces with unique elements that provide pops of personality and spirit. ~ …

Nolcha Fashion Week: Samantha Cole London FW 13

On Wednesday, February 13, Nolcha Fashion Week: New York Fall/Winter 2013 presented by Rusk held their runway shows at Pier 59. For those of you who may not be familiar with Nolcha, now in its sixth year, they are one of New York’s leading platforms for independent global fashion designers. I fell in love with designer Samantha Cole and her Fall/Winter 13 collection. The models looked so tough and ready to kick ass.  There were lots of bold geometric prints and dark colors, but I personally loved the all white looks. Samantha Cole’s designs are very strong and edgy. Her collections are all designed with an underlying theme involving female empowerment,  which of course, I love. What do you think of the collection? Check out more from Nolcha Fashion week HERE and more from Samantha Cole London Here. *photos via
