B.A.D. Girl Tip: Take a Risk

I know firsthand how scary it is to take risks and do something that is out of our comfort zone. I left a comfortable job in the fashion industry that I was pretty damn good at to start my own business. The hardest part wasn’t leaving the job, but rather  leaving the comfort of a steady paycheck. However,  I knew in my heart that if I didn’t leave when I did I probably wouldn’t ever do it. If you have confidence in yourself then being afraid to take a risk shouldn’t be an issue. When you believe in something with your whole heart you can make it your reality. If you want something you have never had before then you have to do something you have never done. Be someone who chooses to live freely. Be B.A.D.! What risk have you taken? xoxo Nicole Let’s Connect:  Bloglovin’  Facebook  Twitter  Instagram   Youtube   Shop

B.A.D. Girl Tip: Get Your Mind Right to Get In Shape

B.A.D. Girl Lifestyle Tip: The law of attraction states that what we think about and more importantly put feeling behind we bring about in our lives so everyday I make a conscious effort to think and feel good as much as I can. In doing this I have seen amazing results with my fitness goals and I want to share with you guys what I have been doing besides eating better and exercising. I have made the word “weight” a taboo. I no longer use the word weight because if you constantly worry about putting on weight or gaining weight or even losing weight the universe has no choice but to give you WEIGHT! I don’t feel Guilt. If I want to enjoy a piece of cake or order french fries with my meal I do it and I enjoy it and I don’t allow myself to feel guilty for it. Feeling guilty will attract more guilt in the form or weight gain! I use positive mantras. “I am healthy” and “I am slim” are my go-to’s. …

B.A.D. Girl Tip: Set Your Standards for the New Year

I’ve mentioned in previous posts how I no longer set resolutions or goals because they are future focused and don’t allow for you to feel accomplished NOW. This leads to feeling discouraged and straying off from what you set out to accomplish. I set standards that I vow to stick to on a daily basis that will ultimately allow me to be happy, positive and successful everyday not 1, 3 or 6 months from now. My New Standards for 2014: Eat Cleaner. I am eliminating  McDonald’s and Burger King from my diet. Blog Consistently. Publish at least 3 blog posts a week. Save Money. I am going to put away a minimum amount each month. Grow My Business. Do at least one thing aimed at growth everyday. Get Organized. I am buying a planner and creating the day that I want in advance. What standards will you be implementing for the New Year? P.S. B.A.D. Girl Tip: Facing Your Fears Unleashes Your Potential

Wasted potential sucks so don’t pour yours down the drain just because we live in a fear-based society that keeps most of us worrying rather than dreaming.  The easiest way to face your fears is to act.  If you have a goal or a dream you want to achieve take time out  every day to make your dream happen. Do something! Start small if you have to, but just START! Actually, I am going to give you your first step… buy a dream book aka a notebook that you can write down your thoughts, ideas and to-do lists in. Yeah, you can use your fancy phone, but there is something about the act of hand writing your ideas down that makes it seem more real. Don’t you want to know what can happen if you unleash your potential? The biggest risk you can take is to take none. What is your dream?  xo Nicole Let’s Connect:  Bloglovin’  Facebook  Twitter  Instagram  SHOP

B.A.D. Girl Tip: Set Daily Standards

I recently started reading this book and its completely changed my way of thinking, living and how I plan to set out and accomplish my goals. So basically I am no longer setting goals, but rather setting daily standards that will allow me to start achieving success TODAY. Here are some of the standards I am now implementing into my daily routine: 1. I will not put garbage food & drink into my body. 2. I will not entertain negativity in any shape or form. 3. I will dictate how my time is spent and with whom. 4. I will not spend money frivolously. 5. I will not over work myself. Now the key is to stick to my standards and my life will slowly begin to change for the better! What are some standards YOU can start to implement today?  xx Nicole

B.A.D. Girl Tip: Giving Up vs Trying Harder

This is something we  probably have learned the hard way at some point in our life and being the  DETERMINED women that we are it can be difficult for us to just  throw in the towel. We aren’t quitters, because quitters never win right? Well, I strongly believe in NEVER saying never! It is majorly important for us to grow, understand and realize when we need to work harder for something or someone and when it is best for us to gracefully bow out. When To Try Harder: You haven’t actually “failed” yet You haven’t given 120% of your efforts Your heart tells you that you CAN You believe in your idea When To Move On: Your efforts are not being appreciated You are causing more harm than good YOU are not happy When do you think someone should move on or try harder at something? xx Nicole

Make It Happen!

Every now and then I need to seek motivation. Life is hard and it throws obstacles your way no matter how hard you try to maneuver around them.  It really helps to read positive words of encouragement. So I hope these motivate you to have an awesome week! Go out there and start towards your dreams. Take that first step! Do YOU! xx Nicole All images were found on Pinterest

{Motivated Monday} Achieve Your Goals Before 2012 Gets Here!

The end of the year is rapidly approaching, but don’t stress you still have time to cross off some of the goals on your list.  1. Keep it small or get an early start on something big right now! Set out to cross off some of those smaller items on your list, like sorting thru your closet and donating old items or finally learning how to make a cheesecake.  This is also a good time to get a head start on some of your goals you have set for next year. The early bird catches the worm, right? 2. Tell someone about your goal. Saying your goal out loud helps bring it to life and make it feel more tangible.  3. Goals can be fun!  What about that goal to go out and volunteer or spend more time hanging with your old friends? Get on it!  Most importantly continue to stay positive regardless of what you may have or have not achieved this year. Dont be too hard on yourself, just work smarter this time! How did …

Have you missed out an opportunity?

Be (B)eautiful: You can never predict when your next opportunity for something great will come knocking. This is why a B.A.D girls is always prepared with positivity, a killer outfit and a biz card! Be (A)uthentic: You know that gut feeling you get in the pit of your stomach?  Someone once told me that “gut” stands for “God Ushering Truth” and it has stuck with me ever since. I can’t think of a time that my gut feeling has ever been wrong about something or someone. Can you? Be (D)etermined: If you could pile up all of your missed opportunities into one room and come face to face with them would you be happy with the way your life turned out? Are you taking full advantage of all opportunities given to you??
