From Dumpster Diving To Running a Fashion Empire.
Crop tops are everywhere and I think that anyone regardless of their size can get in on this trend if they really want to. How to Wear a Crop Top: Find a style that works for you. There are so many available that range from really fitted/cropped to longer and more loose. Pair it with high waist shorts or pants. This allows you to cover up more of your tummy. For a modest look have your bottom cover your belly button so you show just a hint of skin. Elastic waist bottoms like maxi skirts are also perfect to pair with crop tops. If you don’t want to show any skin layer it up with a fitted tank underneath the crop top. DIY! Take an old tee and cut it yourself so it is a length you are comfortable with. Don’t forget to accessorize! How do you rock crop tops? P.s. This photo is from a recent photo shoot I styled and shot for MyTee B.A.D! The sugar skull crop tee is brand new! Enter …
A lot of times we find ourselves getting discouraged from pursuing our dreams because we get caught up in thinking “HOW” is what I want going to happen. We feel like things are impossible. I hate to break it to ya, but nothing is impossible! I have learned that it is in our best interest to focus solely on the end result. Learn to control your thoughts and keep them focused on the “What” and in turn all of the “How’s” will be answered. All of the things, ideas, people, tools that you need will find their way into your life. Focus on the WHAT; not the HOW. Spend time everyday visualizing your desires (create a vision board if that helps). Take inspired action and have unwavering faith that what you want CAN & WILL come true. I firmly believe that we can have, achieve, and get everything that we want in life as long as we think and feel positive! Share with me your success stories in the comments! Wake up late. Spill coffee on your blouse. Your boss pisses you off within 15 minutes of being at work. You mess up on a project at work and so on and so on. Does this spiral of negativity sound at all familiar? I have had my fair share of these days, but once I learned the powerful impact that a positive thought in the morning can have on my day it changed my daily outlook. Instead of waking up and saying ” ugh I don’t want to go to work/school” or ” ughh I hate waking up this early” opt for the simple thought of ” Today is going to be a good day!”. Try this one thought every morning for a week and see if your days start to change for the better. The trick is you have to mean it when you say it. Close your eyes and imagine yourself having a great day before you get out of bed in the morning. Say it out loud. Then while you are brushing …

Head scarves are my new obsession especially because I am in desperate need of a hair cut! I purchased this cute skull printed scarf from H&M for $6 and because its narrow it makes for the perfect head piece. You can wear a head scarf so many different ways ( like this way), but I decided to keep the scarf long and flowy since I was going for a gypsy vibe. I am also REALLY excited to debut one of my brand new tee designs for MyTee B.A.D! This along with a bunch more will be up for sale very soon! I really can’t get enough of these Jeffrey Campbell ‘Clinic’ Wedges. They are beyond comfy and I just want to wear them all day long! And what makes these bad boys even better is that I paid $75 bucks for them from a seller on Poshmark! What did you wear today? xx Nicole FOLLOW ME: FACEBOOK TWITTER BLOGLOVIN INSTAGRAM
If you’re like me then saving money is probably a challenge, so I have decided to replace the word “savings” with “profit”. We need to start thinking like a boss! Our goal should be to turn a profit with our personal finances and not experience loss by spending more than we make. So don’t ask yourself if you saved enough money at the end of the month; ask yourself if you made a profit this month instead. Doesn’t that just sound better? And so much more boss lady-ish too! Are you thinking like a boss? xx Nicole

What is the one thing that we probably look at the most in a typical day? I will bet you anything its probably your cell phone. I am pretty sure I check my phone 50 times (shameful, I know) a day so I started putting positive quotes and inspiring images as my wall paper and lock screen and it really helps me control my thoughts throughout the day. This tip is especially helpful if you are focused on achieving something in particular. I always switch it up depending on my mood and my goals for the day or week. Here are a few of my current faves! Whats on your phones lock screen or wall paper? Have a kick ass week! xx Nicole Follow Me: Bloglovin Facebook Twitter Instagram
image via It’s said that ” Energy flows, where attention goes” and that you get what you focus on so stop dwelling on all of the annoying things that may be going on with your relationship and/or your significant other and start paying attention to the good things. Creating a “gratitude list” will allow you to put your energy into the positive aspects of your relationship and remember all of the wonderful qualities that you love about your partner. Everyday for the next 30 days write down one new thing on your list. The KEY here is to focus your thoughts and energy on the items you add to your list only. You will start to receive more of the good while the not so good start to disappear. ANDDDD if for some reason your list is coming up short it may be time for you to reevaluate your current relationship. Just saying. P.s. You can also create a “gratitude list” for your personal life too! What is something you are grateful for?
