B.A.D. Girl Style: Celebrating OPC in Velvet & Leather

This past Saturday I had the pleasure of attending my Sorority’s Soft Elegance Banquet celebrating our 25th Anniversary! It was a magical night with so much love and pride in the air. I am so proud to be a sister of the FIRST true Multicultural Sorority in the nation. Happy 25 Years Omega Phi Chi Sorority! Here are some pics from the amazing night! I unfortunately did not get to use my digital camera so I apologize for the lack in quality of these photos! I scored my dress for under $40 bucks with shipping from GOJANE. I was nervous about the quality because the price was so low but it turned out to be a really nice dress and it’s made in the good ol’ USA! B.A.D. Girl Style: Plaid & Leather

I mentioned in my blog post  last week how all I want to wear is plaid, leather and leopard so I present to you this ensemble that features two of the three.  I am obsessed with this leather skirt because I can dress it up or down. Its a versatile piece and I definitely need to get my hands on a real one stat! I am working on this post as I watch the TLC movie on VH1 and all of the plaid they are rocking is giving me so much inspo! B.A.D Girl Swag: My style is mean, but I promise I’m nice!

Lately, I am obsessed with feeling tough, but still girlie. It may have something to do with the cold weather, perhaps?  I think it might be the boots! This was a casual Friday night outfit for hitting up a bar with friends. The charcoal skirt kind of looks like velvet when photographed, but its definitely not. I love embellished shoulder pads and my knit tights are so comfy! I also really like zippers on clothing where you least expect it, which is why I purchased the skirt in the first place.  I added the soft curls to my hair and the flower necklace for femininity.
