The new year may be here but these were my favorite products from December of 2015!
This months favorites include a product that has allowed me to finally wear eyeliner!
I am a bit late with my favorites for the month of April (it went by way too quickly!), but I guess I didn’t really have too much newness to share with you all. I did however have some empties from some of my favorite products so I figured I would share these with you too. So here we go! Favorites: Nubian Heritage Mango Butter Soap, $4.49 I’ve mentioned how much I love this brand before, BUT this one just might be my favorite. My skin has been so silky smooth that I spend way too much time feeling on myself for no reason at all. So serious. Mineral Fusions Nail Polish in Glint of Mint, $7.99 I purchased this polish because it is marketed as a healthier alternative to regular nail polish that’s free from all the terrible chemicals and toxins found in others. It has good staying power and the colors are gorgeous. YSL Volupte Sheer Candy in Cool Guava, $34 I’ve had this glossy balm for some time now but found myself wearing it frequently in …

I was reallllyy excited to finally order these NCLA nails wraps (via Shop Jeen) since I have been eying them for a minute. Plus, I am a huge fan of designer Melody Eshani. Here is what I thought of ’em! Pros: Awesome designs that are different than what is currently out there. You can probably get at least 2-3 wears out of the set- comes with 2 full sheets I got major compliments- even strangers stopped to ask about them! They stayed put while washing my hair! Taking them off was super easy; they literally peeled right off like stickers. Cons: The nail wraps seemed to be designed for longer nails. I had a hard time getting the best part of each design to fit entirely on my nail so I had to cut the bottom part of each sticker to fit them properly. The wraps don’t lay on to the nail as nicely as the real polish strips by Sally Hansen. It took me a good 2 hours to do my nails with trying …
I finally got my hands (literally) on the Sally Hansen Salon Effects nail polish strips! They are actual strips of real nail polish that you stick on and fit to your nails. The best part is that you don’t have to wait for your nails to dry! I don’t know about you, but that is my least favorite part of a manicure, especially when I rush and wind up smudging a freshly done nail. AN-NOY-ING. Each kit contains 16 different sized strips so that you can fit them to your nails. All you have to do is peel the back, fit it to your nail, smooth it out and then file off the remainder of the strip. It’s so easy even a cave man could do it. No messy nail polish all over your skin; no wasting time while drying, just a straight up party on your nails in under 15 minutes. I’m wit it. Overall, I give the strips an 8 out of 10. They have been on my nails for over 2 weeks. My one complaint …
