B.A.D. Girl Style: NYFW Day One

I FINALLY get to attend New York Fashion Week this year since I am self employed and can make my own schedule. Woop!  On Day 1 of NYFW Lincoln Center was buzzing and I was just taking it all in while sipping on a Beck’s Sapphire beer (free during cocktail hour!).  You’re only allowed into the actual venue if you have a ticket for a show that day otherwise people hang out outside hoping to see someone famous or get photographed. This is the outfit I wore to attend the Desigual SS14 runway show, which was SO good btw! I was really excited to find a cute pair of faux leather jogger pants at Mystique Boutique. I have seen these pants trending on some of my favorite bloggers and couldn’t wait to rock them. The tiger crop top is also from Mystique Boutique. The Sandals are from H&M and my bag is by Ted Baker. I also can’t forget to mention that my earrings are from my sorority sister’s jewelry line, Love, Nidia E.  I …

Birthday Dress Showdown!

My Birthday is officially less than 2 weeks away (ahhh!) which means its crunch time! I have so much going on that I haven’t had the opportunity to really figure out my exact birthday plans, but I do know that I want a super cute dress to rock that can go from day to evening with just a few changes. I scoured the web and settled on these two options from Nasty Gal. Option #1: Daisy Dress I am currently obsessed with daisy print and this dress gives me a total 90’s Kelly Kapowski vibe that I love! Option #2: Sally Dress This dress is a bit more practical and I can most likely get more use out of it. I really love how comfortable it looks and the cut out shoulders add a touch of sexy that is appropriate for the daytime. So I need your help!! Which dress do I choose?! B.A.D. Girl Style: We Do It Well

My dad told me I looked like a 90’s fly girl from the old school TV show  ‘In Living Color’. I’ll take it as a compliment since 90’s style is back and J.Lo was a fly girl! But really I just wanted to be comfy and a hat was necessary since my hair looked cray-cray. I am also rocking one of the new tees I designed for MyTee B.A.D. it’s over sized and super comfy, which makes it perfect for those days when you want to be comfortable, but still make a statement! My blog readers can get one and save 20% on your order with discount code SMB20! What I wore: MyTee B.A.D. BGDIW Tee, Forever 21 Shorts, Zara Shoes, Mytee B.A.D. Necklace, Betsey Johnson Watch, Civil Clothing Cap What did you wear today? xx Nicole Let’s Connect: Bloglovin  Facebook  Twitter  Instagram

B.A.D Girl Style: I’m About My Business.

Who said dressing up for work had to be boring? Your basic button up shirt that may seem wack to you can actually be very versatile.  The one I am wearing is from the Simply Vera Collection by Vera Wang, which is full of really great pieces for work and play. Four finger rock candy from you guessed it, PNK Elephant. I like to kick the days ass when I’m wearing my combats boots from Guess. Throw on a pair of  Negativity Blockers Since I started my new job about a month ago my positivity has sky rocketed. Yes, I am obviously happier, but I also put an effort into keeping my thoughts positive.  Consciously removing any negative stinkin’ thinkin’ and focusing on the good. I feel AMAZING. Try it, NOW. 😀
