Hey Friends! I apologize for the lack of posts recently as I am currently undergoing a new and exciting transition in my life! I took this photo and posted it to my instagram account on my last day of work; I resigned! It feels amazing and I look forward to the challenges, opportunities, and freedoms that await me! But for now I am taking it one day at a time because all we really have is Today. Make your life count! Expect regular posts and more soon! xx Nicole Follow Me: Instagram :: Facebook :: Twitter :: Bloglovin
The problem with setting goals is that they keep you focused on the future as opposed to the most important time, which is the now. Create standards that you can follow each day that will allow you to live your life everyday as your best B.A.D. Girl self. Life is a sequence of moments all called now. Your nows will determine the outcome of your tomorrows (future) so focus on making the best out of them. How are you choosing to live each day? xx Nicole

This quote just gives me life! There is nothing worse than wasted time. I really admire people who make an effort to make each day count. Start by setting daily standards that you will stick to and allow for you to do more of what you love and less of what you hate. Set standards that allow you to determine how, when and with whom your time is spent. Your future is predicated on the decisions you make in the present so why not focus your energy on the NOW? Are you spending your time the way YOU want to? xx Nicole
I began on this journey just shy of 3 years ago because I really disliked how the term “bad girl” had been misconstrued into something really negative and ugly. I decided to use the blogosphere as my platform to get my voice heard and help create my own unique definition of what it means to be B.A.D. I started MTB Clothing because I wanted to design tangible items that when worn make you feel confident and fearless and remind you to always be Beautiful, Authentic and Determined. You know how wearing a leather jacket instantly makes you feel like a badass? I want our pieces to do that to you. The mission is to create a movement that will change the way we think when we hear the term “bad girl”. Instead of it being seen as a negative it will become a positive title that women will be proud to carry. Tell me why YOU are a B.A.D. Girl for a chance to be featured on my blog! xx Nicole
I along with my blogger boo Erin of Spikes & Sequins attended a fun event in honor of Anthropologies ‘Made in Kind’ Karen Walker collection, called ‘Hi There’. We were supposed to get a chance to meet Karen Walker in the flesh, but sadly I think we missed her! The collection itself is really cute and very similar to Karen Walkers signature line, but at a much better price! The collection is full of cheeky prints and bright fun colors. I loved the cute octopus tee paired with the polka dot skirt! There was a Valentine’s Day inspired candy station so we made sure to stock up on some sweets. They also served chilled Prosecco, had a fun Valentine’s Day themed photo booth and a DJ blasting tunes to keep the vibe cool and chill. We had a good time and tried really hard not to shop! Erin and I did NOT plan to both have neon legs for the event, but we did and it was pretty awesome. I was also rocking my new leather biker …
I am really excited to share with you all that I have been invited by IBM to participate in their #MySmarterCommerce campaign, which means from now until March 11th I will be sharing what “smarter commerce” means to me so be on the look out for content from me here on my blog, facebook, twitter and instagram! “Smarter Commerce” means something different to all of us. To me its about connecting, discovering, learning and sharing with one another and even with our favorite brands. I will be sharing my story with you as a blogger and entrepreneur over the next couple of weeks and I hope you will share yours with me. I am not being compensated to take part in this campaign, but may have the opportunity to be featured and attend some cool events. This is more so an opportunity for me to share my our story with the world and a pretty big company like IBM, so lets spark a smarter conversation! What does “smarter commerce” mean to you? xx Nicole
I get that people feel like we shouldn’t have ONE day out of the year to to celebrate love in our life, but honestly its no different than celebrating a holiday like Thanksgiving where we take the time out to give thanks for what we have right, right? 5 Reasons it’s OK to Celebrate: 1. It’s a holiday, which means we have a legit excuse to get out, have fun amd meet people! 2. Gift Giving helps spread cheer and positive energy. 3. You can use it as an excuse to treat YOURSELF. 4. Valentine’s Day isn’t just for lovers; its also for family and friends. 5. B.A.D. Girls spread Love everyday and Feb 14th is no different, right? In a fast paced crazy world I feel like Holidays gives us the opportunity to take time out and make an extra effort to show our appreciation for our vast blessings and good fortune EVEN IF we make an effort to do it on the daily. Do you celebrate V-DAY? xx Nicole *image is not my own.
