Birthday Dress Showdown!

My Birthday is officially less than 2 weeks away (ahhh!) which means its crunch time! I have so much going on that I haven’t had the opportunity to really figure out my exact birthday plans, but I do know that I want a super cute dress to rock that can go from day to evening with just a few changes. I scoured the web and settled on these two options from Nasty Gal. Option #1: Daisy Dress I am currently obsessed with daisy print and this dress gives me a total 90’s Kelly Kapowski vibe that I love! Option #2: Sally Dress This dress is a bit more practical and I can most likely get more use out of it. I really love how comfortable it looks and the cut out shoulders add a touch of sexy that is appropriate for the daytime. So I need your help!! Which dress do I choose?! B.A.D. Girl Style: Tiger Power

This summer my go to favorite item of clothing was a muscle tank. I love the comfortable fit and boyish cut. I would take old tees and cut them into muscle tanks too. It’s a great way to upcycle your clothing! This tee I am wearing is from Zara and I looveee it.   Another trend I am currently obsessed with is tying shirts around your waist. Its so 90’s grunge and as a true 90’s kid I am happy to see this style being accepted back into the fashion community for now.  The one I am wearing in this photo is my bf’s sweater that I accidentally shrunk when washing so its mine now. Sorry babe! My mom was with me while taking photos and she always bugs me to feature Knuckles, our family pet so here he is! Knuckles is a Welsh Corgi and he’s is a total ham. I always told my mom she should of got him a pet agent. Outfit Details: Top: Zara, Pants: Urban Outfitters, Shoes: H&M Online, Necklace: …

B.A.D. Girl Style: Crop Tops

Crop tops are everywhere and I think that anyone regardless of their size can get in on this trend if they really want to. How to Wear a Crop Top: Find a style that works for you. There are so many available that range from really fitted/cropped to longer and more loose. Pair it with high waist shorts or pants. This allows you to cover up more of your tummy. For a modest look have your bottom cover your belly button so you show just a hint of skin. Elastic waist bottoms like maxi skirts are also perfect to pair with crop tops. If you don’t want to show any skin layer it up with a fitted tank underneath the crop top. DIY! Take an old tee and cut it yourself so it is a length you are comfortable with. Don’t forget to accessorize! How do you rock crop tops? P.s. This photo is from a recent photo shoot I styled and shot for MyTee B.A.D! The sugar skull crop tee is brand new! Enter …

B.A.D. Girl How To: Layer Necklaces

Layering jewelry pieces is one of my favorite things to do to make an outfit interesting! I know  a lot of people get scared to do this and I refuse to let any B.A.D. Girl shy away from a trend so here ya go! Step 1: Start with a Blank Canvas The top you wear should showcase the necklaces you are wearing and not be too busy. I recommend a classic tee or tank. Step 2: Decide on Your Look The pieces you will use all depend on the look you are going for that day, but try to keep the general style of your necklaces the same. Don’t be scared to mix metals like gold and silver together, it adds dimension to your look. Step 3: Pick Out A Statement Piece I recommend picking a statement necklace or a choker. This piece should be the thickest and/or boldest and should rest on your collar bone. I am wearing the Sun & Moon Choker I designed for MyTee B.A.D. Step 4: Decide on the Number …

Help Me Shop for New Eyeglasses Online!

I am long overdue for a new pair of eyeglasses. My current pair (as seen in the photo!) was purchased in 2006!! I didn’t even realize it had been that long already so I was excited when reached out to me to review their site and product line. I have never purchased eyeglasses online before so this is new for me. offers a wide variety of eyeglasses and even sunglasses at ridiculously awesome prices, which is great for someone like me who is currently without vision coverage. I spent some time browsing thru the site picking out my favorite frames and I need your help on which pair you think I should purchase! GlassesUSA also offers a really cool virtual mirror feature that allowed me to see how I would look with each pair of glasses on. This was actually really helpful and I was able to pick frames much more easily. Here is a pic of me with option #2 using the virtual mirror. I think I really dig option #2 which …

B.A.D. Girl Style: We Do It Well

My dad told me I looked like a 90’s fly girl from the old school TV show  ‘In Living Color’. I’ll take it as a compliment since 90’s style is back and J.Lo was a fly girl! But really I just wanted to be comfy and a hat was necessary since my hair looked cray-cray. I am also rocking one of the new tees I designed for MyTee B.A.D. it’s over sized and super comfy, which makes it perfect for those days when you want to be comfortable, but still make a statement! My blog readers can get one and save 20% on your order with discount code SMB20! What I wore: MyTee B.A.D. BGDIW Tee, Forever 21 Shorts, Zara Shoes, Mytee B.A.D. Necklace, Betsey Johnson Watch, Civil Clothing Cap What did you wear today? xx Nicole Let’s Connect: Bloglovin  Facebook  Twitter  Instagram

B.A.D. Girl Style: Freak Out!

What I Wore: Zara Tee, Free People Jeans, Dolce Vita Sandals, Michael Kors Watch, Nidia E Earrings  & Target belt My awesome dad surprised me last week with tickets to see my FAVORITE comedian, Mr. Kevin James! I am obsessed with this man and I am not even joking. I would marry him if I could, but don’t tell the bf! I def freaked out when my dad told me I was going so I thought this shirt would be appropriate to wear! I wanted to be comfortable, but of course stylish in the event that I met the love of my life face to face! I went to the show with my sister and we had a great time (minus the $22 spent on 2 beers – outlandish!). I was literally jumping out of my seat waiting to see Kevin in person! I am obsessed with his humor so he of course had me dying during the show! They prohibited the use of cameras in the theater, but I snuck mine in anyways (rules, …

B.A.D. Girl Style: Oh, baby!

I attended a baby shower for my beautiful sorority sister, Nazly, this past weekend. She is expecting her first child and it’s a girl! YAY! I wore a daisy print dress from Zara with a lace blazer and Prabal Gurung x Target heels. My lovely friend looked amazing in a dress she scored on Gilt! As part of my gift I made baby girl her first studded piece, a turband! It was the tiniest one Ive ever made and I think it came out friggen adorable! I can’t wait to see the little princess wear it! The baby shower was a blast and I love any opportunity to spend time with my sorority sisters! We are all so excited for the newest arrival! Have you been to a baby shower recently? xx Nicole Let’s Connect: Bloglovin Facebook Twitter Instagram

B.A.D. Girl Style: Gypsy Rocker

Head scarves are my new obsession especially because I am in desperate need of a hair cut! I purchased this cute skull printed scarf from H&M for $6 and because its narrow it makes for the perfect head piece. You can wear a head scarf so many different ways ( like this way), but I decided to keep the scarf long and flowy since I was going for a gypsy vibe. I am also REALLY excited to debut one of my brand new tee designs for MyTee B.A.D! This along with a bunch more will be up for sale very soon! I really can’t get enough of these Jeffrey Campbell ‘Clinic’ Wedges. They are beyond comfy and I just want to wear them all day long! And what makes these bad boys even better is that I paid $75 bucks for them from a seller on Poshmark! What did you wear today? xx Nicole FOLLOW ME: FACEBOOK TWITTER BLOGLOVIN INSTAGRAM
