The new year may be here but these were my favorite products from December of 2015!
September means cooler temperatures, darker shades and a change in skin care routines. Here are my favorite products that I have enjoyed using this past month.
I am a bit late with my favorites for the month of April (it went by way too quickly!), but I guess I didn’t really have too much newness to share with you all. I did however have some empties from some of my favorite products so I figured I would share these with you too. So here we go! Favorites: Nubian Heritage Mango Butter Soap, $4.49 I’ve mentioned how much I love this brand before, BUT this one just might be my favorite. My skin has been so silky smooth that I spend way too much time feeling on myself for no reason at all. So serious. Mineral Fusions Nail Polish in Glint of Mint, $7.99 I purchased this polish because it is marketed as a healthier alternative to regular nail polish that’s free from all the terrible chemicals and toxins found in others. It has good staying power and the colors are gorgeous. YSL Volupte Sheer Candy in Cool Guava, $34 I’ve had this glossy balm for some time now but found myself wearing it frequently in …

Buying a new lip balm WITH an SPF has been on my shopping list for a hot minute and the other day I finally remembered to pick one up while I was in CVS. I’ve heard great things about ‘Baby Lips’ by Maybelline and was excited to see they offered an option with SPF 20! Score! Why You Need It: SPF 20!! It is SO important to protect your lips from sun damage to keep your lips full and cancer free! Perfect for everyday use and even better to wear under or over your lipstick Keeps lips baby soft and moisturized for up to 8 hours It costs $4 bucks and can easily be purchased at your local drugstore!! Did I mention it has SPF in it??? Did you know the sun’s UV rays can impact the production of collagen in your lips, so overtime as you age your lips begin to thin out and wrinkle?! What product do you use to protect your lips? Buy Baby Lips Here. xx Nicole Let’s Connect: Bloglovin Facebook …
I was contacted by hair care company CoilyHeadChick to review some of the products from their line for curly-haired girls. Now, I don’t normally wear my hair curly because I find the maintenance to be too much with my hectic schedule. However, I do love trying out new products since my hair has changed as an adult. Here are the three products I used on my hair: 1. Ultimate Hair Treat – A concentrated leave in moisturizer that can also be used daily. 2. Hair Perfection– A multipurpose styling gel 3. Hair Martini– A refresher hair spray for your curls. PROS: All natural high quality ingredients My hair was frizz free Products did not make my curls feel hard and crunchy CONS: I am sensitive to smells and the products left my hair smelling like baby powder, which I did not like. Whenever I touched my hair I felt residue from the product on my hands – even after my hair dried completely. I will definitely give CoilyHeadChick another try and I am thinking about …
