I scored this awesome necklace at a really cute boutique in Puerto Rico called Hecho a Mano, which means hand made when I was on vacation last month. My bf insisted on being the one to actually “buy” it for me because he thought it was so dope, so technically it was a gift! Thanks babe! This necklace makes such a bold statement and is so authentic and different that I didn’t even bother putting on earrings and I ALWAYS wear earrings. The necklace itself is really light weight, made of natural materials (wood) and it barely felt like I had anything on which is awesome because some statement pieces can be mad heavy. I rocked my new MyTee B.A.D. turban head wrap, which is made out of recycled organic cotton tee shirts! It will be up for sale on our site very soon!! Any fun statement pieces you’re currently obsessed with? p.s Shout out to my sister, Nina, for the photos! xx Nicole SHOP HECHO A MANO SHOP MYTEE BAD
I celebrated my birthday in Puerto Rico, which is one of my favorite places in the world. We had perfect weather, delicious food and so much fun. There is nothing more relaxing or amazing than dining ocean side. We had brunch with the ocean just feet away from us. I spent my actual birthday drinking plenty of rum on Icaco Beach, which is off the mainland of PR and accessible only by boat. I went snorkeling for the first time too! Oh how I miss la playa (the beach)… Now its back to the daily grind. Le Sigh. Have you ever celebrated your birthday in a different country? xx Nicole
Hi BG’s!! I have been gone the past week on a vacation to Puerto Rico! It was the most amazing trip I have taken so far. Great weather, amazing beaches and ocean views, delicious food, great people, and lots of fun! Sigh…. wish I was still there now… I had planned to bring my lap top with me and update new posts as much as I could, however, I wound up packing way too many outfits that a lap top just wouldn’t fit in my carry on. 😦 But I am back in the states finally and I am tanner, happier, a few pounds heavier lol, but still BADDER than ever!! So I hope you all didn’t miss me too much…;-) Here are a few pics from my trip to the Isla del Encanto!
