Target Shopping Haul

I made a quick stop at my local Target a few days ago and of course I ended up leaving with more than I planned for. I mentioned these leopard print pants in my last post and I love anything Hello Kitty + NEON!  Socks are also one of my obsessions as I mentioned HERE. How cute are these neon babies?  I have a major weakness for sunglasses and I like to buy cheap ones to experiment with different styles before I invest in a good pair.  I would have never thought round frames would look good on my face shape but these are mad cute!  Picked up some new nail polish strips in the beauty section. Spring Fever & Lust-Rous. I love these things. Have you tried them yet? Any fun new purchases? xx Nicole

B.A.D. Girl Tip: Make It Worth It

The calculation above always makes me feel so much better about big purchases and also helps me decide not to buy something.  If I can’t see myself wearing or using something multiple times then its going back on the rack. Now these animal print pants are mad trendy and come next year I may never want to wear them so spending 25 bucks was a sweet purchase. I found them at Target!  Do you like to splurge? H&M Shopping Haul

I’ve been looking for a decent pair of faux leather bottoms for a long time and H&M came thru for me! I love that this sweater feels like a thermal top and the gold buttons add a nice touch. I am building a serrriouss sheer top collection. This color block scarf is about 12 feet long! I am not kidding! I love how many times I can wrap it around my neck. I love the deep burgundy shade and subtle design of this scarf. So pretty! Did you do any shopping over the weekend?!  Happy Monday loves!!

There is an Elephant in the room and it happens to be PNK!

I recently had the privilege of attending a really fun event for one of my favorite up and coming accessory brands, PNK Elephant. The Style Soiree was an accessory addicts paradise. I am a complete sucker for the color pink so you can imagine how much I loved all the  pink details from the cupcakes to the drinks to the fish! I had the pleasure of meeting the fabulous women behind  PNK Elephant, Kijafa Frink and Blair Sandlain. They were absolute sweethearts who made sure I felt welcomed and was enjoying myself. Take a look at how hot Kijafa looked that night and peep her Louboutins! HAWT! Okay, now for the goods, the accessories! I am a proud owner of a few of their pieces and I got even more excited when I was told I would be able to pick a piece from their collection to have! The PNK Elephant collection is very trendy and designed for a fashionista who is bold, bright and fun! I got to chat with Dana, one of their …

Katy Perry for OPI nail polish collection is a teenage dream!

So one of my favorite nail  polish brands,OPI,  is teaming up with  my latest girl crush Katy Perry to release a new line of polishes inspired by her daring and fun style. I am smitten to say the least, at hearing this news! It makes sense why they chose Ms. Perry as their newest collaboration. Besides being undoubtedly gorgeous Katy is always making sure her nails look on point! Katy doesn’t let a red carpet opportunity pass by without showing off her trendy nail beds. If you follow her on twitter you will know that she has posted twitpics of her fun and funky nail art as well. The Katy Perry Collection by OPI will include four really glam song inspired shades: Teenage Dream (a girly pink glitter), Not Like the Movies (a sexy silver), Last Friday Night (a funky glittery blue), and The One That Got Away (a romantic raspberry). I love how the names/song titles pretty much fit perfectly with the shade of polish. I honestly couldn’t imagine Teenage Dream being any other color but pink! …

“Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” ~ Albert Einstein

Be (B)eautiful: I love summer style. So much color and so much fun. I love love love this Marc Jacobs tote for a cute casual summer look! Be (A)uthentic: We all mistakenly think that a guy is going to miraculously change over night, so we give him another shot, and another, and sometimes another one! Value yourself and realize that you deserve better. If you allow him back in and forgive each time, he wont realize that what he is doing needs to stop or that he needs to change. He will continue because you continue to accept it. Be (D)etermined: Don’t fall into the trap of doing the same workout routine everyday that it gets to the point where you aren’t being challenged anymore. Switch it up! Try a new form of cardio like kick boxing, use weights, do more arm curl reps, add in more strength training moves, or target a new area of your body. If you aren’t working your muscles your body wont change and you WONT SEE RESULTS! (source).

“I’ve spent $40,000 on shoes and I have no place to live? I will literally be the old woman who lived in her shoes!” ~Carrie -Sex and the City

“True hope dwells on the possible, even when life seems to be a plot written by someone who wants to see how much adversity we can overcome.”

Be (B)eautiful: Made a visit to Steve Madden last night and fell IN LOVE w/ a slipper (T-pain voice)! I think these little shoes are friggen ADORABLE! They have them in a variety of cute colors. Pay day come quick! Mama needs a new pair of shoes! Be (A)uthentic: Crying cleanses the soul. Some of us prefer to be hard as stones and refuse to crack. A BAD girl is a gem, a rare one, and you must always be bright and shining. So if something is bringing you down, hurting or upsetting you, let it out. Release that one good cry (talk/vent to someone too) and then make an effort to move forward. You won’t be able to shine with a cloud hanging over you. 🙂 Be (D)etermined: I finally got to check out the finalists competing to be the head blogger for Alicia Keys new website http://www.iamasuperwoman.com! A few of them truly inspired me, one in particular, Christina, REALLY did! I completely identified with her thought process and while reading her post-I thought, …

“If you obey all the rules, you miss all the fun”~Katherine Hepburn

Be(B)eautiful: Sailor stripes are kind of a big deal this season. I haven’t cared too much for the trend, but this dress screams BAD girl.  Perfect for a date night or a girls night with heels or flats. It’s HAWT! Be (A)uthentic: A BAD girl is never available, and even if she is is, she is still unavailable (“let me see what I can do to squeeze you in”). Bad Girls are busy. They have plans, meet people,  learn new skills, and enjoy life. That’s the ideal situation you should find yourself in. If that is not the case, you have to find things to do and people to see. A BAD girl should always have people wanting to see her and spend time with her. Be (D)etermiend: If you’re single, going out may be your opportunity to meet someone. But don’t make it your night’s objective.  Aim to have a good time instead of securing Mr. Right. Just like shopping, when you go out looking to spend money and buy something, you never find …
