B.A.D. Girl Must Have For A Pretty Pucker

Buying a new lip balm WITH an SPF has been on my shopping list for a hot minute and the other day I finally remembered to pick one up while I was in CVS. I’ve heard great things about ‘Baby Lips’ by Maybelline and was excited to see they offered an option with  SPF 20! Score! Why You Need It: SPF 20!! It is SO important to protect your lips from sun damage to keep your lips full and cancer free! Perfect for everyday use and even better to wear under or over your lipstick Keeps lips baby soft and moisturized for up to 8 hours It costs $4 bucks and can easily be purchased at your local drugstore!! Did I mention it has SPF in it??? Did you know the sun’s UV rays can impact the production of collagen in your lips, so overtime as you age your lips begin to thin out and wrinkle?! B.A.D. Girl Beauty Tip For Oily Skin

I suffer from oily a$$ skin and have realized that gel products work way better for my skin so I am happy to share with you my new favorites. Boscia Revitalizing Black Hydration Gel: This gel is awesome it has a really nice cooling effect and leaves my skin feeling soft with minimal shine after applying. Peter Thomas Roth Max Anti-Shine Mattifying Gel: This stuff has changed my life! Its a velvety smooth gel that instantly mattes my skin and keeps me shine free for hours! I’ve been able to make it through a work day with a shine free forehead. No lie! So this weeks tip: Try a GEL product! Have any of you ever tried these products? What do you use for shine control? Both products can be found at Sephora  xx Nicole

“I was raised to believe that excellence is the best deterrent to racism or sexism. And thats how I operate my life.” ~Oprah Winfrey

Be (B)eautiful: There is no Excuse for NOT Cleansing your face after a days workout of makeup. Use your hands or a soft cloth w/a gentle cleanser to remove any residue left behind, a toner to give your skin elasticity, and a good moisturizer to keep your skin in top notch shape. I am absolutely obsessed with my 3 step kit from Artistry Essentials. My face always feels super soft  and smells heavenly. 🙂 Be (A)uthentic: If its true that you start being called a bitch when you’re successful, then we should embrace the opportunity to be called a bitch in the workplace. It usually means that we are right or that we are insisting on excellence from others. Be (D)etermined: Women owners of businesses with revenues of $1 million or more were more likely than men owners to have started their companies rather than have purchased, inherited, or acquired them in some other way. Now that is pretty BAD ass!

“What’s the worst that can happen? If it doesn’t do well I can put on my big girl panties, deal with it and move on.” ~Halle Berry

Be (B)eautiful: Taking care of yourself is a must and I love trying new products especially those that are natural/organic handmade. Lush makes nothing but handmade products from all natural ingredients. HEAVEN. Be (A)uthentic: You have to lose some in order to win some. That job you were really hoping for may not have called you back, but an even better opportunity awaits you. When one door closes, another one always opens – all you need is a key. That key is positivity. Be (D)etermined: Be careful who you tell your ambitions/goals to before it comes to fruition b/c not everyone will be happy for you. It’s life and the haters are gonna hate! Though you may be excited – telling too many people will invite unwanted criticism and negativity and you don’t need that.

“You grow up the day you have your first real laugh at yourself.” ~Ethel Barrymore

Be (B)eautiful:  I just started using a new face scrub from none other than St.Ives. The product is called ‘Naturally Clear Green Tea Scrub‘ and it is FAB! Green tea is a known redness reducer and I suffer terribly from redness in my skin. Green tea also helps fight off free radicals, because it is full of antioxidants. I am SOLD. Also, what is great about this scrub is that it is much more gentle on your skin than other face scrubs (i.e St.Ives Apricot Scrub). It is recommended that you only use a face scrub 2-3 times a week (especially if you have acne), but this one I feel could be used more than that. It is amazing and only $6! Check it out! Be (A)uthentic: Having a great sense of humor is a BAD girl must. Being able to make people laugh is even better. However, my favorite people are the ones who can laugh at themselves. It really shows your confidence when you can laugh silly things off. If you do something …

“If you don’t go after what you want, you’ll never have it. If you don’t ask, the answer is always no. If you don’t step forward, you’re always in the same place.”~Nora Roberts

Be (B)eautiful: A great beauty tip I learned from my mom is to use orange peels on our skin! So instead of throwing them out after you finish eating one for lunch, take the peels and use them on your skin. If you take the peel and squeeze it (the orange side) you will see that a liquid seeps out. This is great for your skin! I also found a  recipe for an at home orange peel face mask. Let me know how it works for you! Be (A)uthentic: Confidence is a MUST.  Men find confidence to be extremely sexy, the only men who don’t are those with their own personal issues. These men want a partner who is weaker than they are so that they can control them.  BAD girls want a man who is turned on by their confidence and not intimidated by it.  Kiss those insecure losers goodbye! Actually, I take that kiss back,  a hug may suffice. 😉 Be (D)etermined:There is no better feeling than going after what you want and …
