B.A.D. Girl Beauty: August 2014 Favorites

I am finally back with my current beauty favorites! I don’t normally wear much makeup in the summer, but when I do I have really been loving these products, especially the lippies! Here are my thoughts on each. EYES: Maybelline Color Tattoo Eyeshadow – Bad To The Bronze, $6.99 One of my fav beauty vloggers Amanda Ensing influenced this purchase and I loveee it. The staying power is insane and I love the beautiful shimmery bronze color. The product is very buildable and it’s exactly what I needed for when I want to glam up my natural/brown makeup look. NYX Pin-Up Tease Mascara, $5.99 I have super long and unruly lashes especially the ones at the outer corners of my eyelids and the wand on this mascara does exactly as it promises. It’s designed to separate and curl your lashes. The brush size is smaller than I am used to but it works so good. My only complaint is that it is hard to fully take off without the use of makeup remover. LIPS: Milani Lipstick- …

Be (B)eautiful: So you need car insurance, life insurance, health insurance, etc, but what about shadow insurance??? This was probably the best investment I have ever made when it comes to cosmetics. Eye shadow insurance has saved my eyes! Too faced shadow primer helps keep my eye shadow from creasing, smudging or getting oily. It also helps give me a smooth eye lid for application. You can even use it alone w/o shadow to keep your lids looking flawless throughout the day. I HIGHLY recommend for my BAD girls! Be (A)uthentic: A simple way to be original is to be YOU. There is no one else on the planet like you, remember that! Embrace who you are and love it. It is imperative that you love yourself more than anyone who will ever love you. Be (D)etermined: Try not to be one of those people who live for the weekend. It’s easy to get caught in that trap, but that is how life will pass you by.  Do fun things during the week too! Live …

Be (B)eautiful: I am a HUGE FAN of Too Faced cosmetics. Everything I have ever bought and used from them has been amazing. The bronzer’s, eye shadows, mascara, primer, lip stick, EVERYTHING! If you shop at Sephora they always have amazing deals where you can purchase a make-up kit full of goodies at a ridiculously cheap price.  LOVE IT!! Be (A)uthentic: I can’t stress how important it is to do things that YOU enjoy. Don’t be a pushover- that is NOT a BAD girl characteristic. Pleasing everyone seems like the easy option at the time, but what about YOU? When do you get to enjoy doing what you like to do? You should be calling the shots, Bad girl. Be (D)etermined: Treat yourself to a Beach Day! BUT it has to be during the work week! If you work the regular Mon-Fri schedule – take off on a Friday or a Monday. This will allow you to have an extended weekend, PLUS you won’t have to worry about showing up to work the next day …
